P.A.R.T.S., the international school for contemporary dance in Brussels founded by Rosas and De Munt/La Monnaie will organise auditions for its Research Cycle in Spring 2012.
The Research Cycle is an intensive program for dancers, dance makers and choreographers who want to deepen their knowledge and skills in training, creating, reflection and performance. The Research Cycle is a two-year fulltime program, focussing on the development of a personal vocabulary, projects with guest choreographers, intensive repertoire study, personal work and advanced theoretical classes.
It consists of a group of approximately 25 students coming from different parts of the world. The teachers are all acknowledged artists working in the global field of performing arts. The school is part of the vibrant and international community of contemporary dance in Brussels.
The Research Cycle is open for dancers and choreographers who have obtained at least a Bachelor in Dance or Choreography, aged between 22 and 28.

Selection process:
There are two modes of preselection, and you will have to make a choice between those two.
1. Preselections by auditions:
A preselection audition lasts one day and consists of dance classes and personal tasks. To apply for a preselection, you should register through the P.A.R.T.S. website

2. Preselection by dossier
You can also send in a dossier to present yourself. The dossier should contain a cv, motivation letter, recommendation letter and documentation of exisiting works. More detailed information is available through the PA.R.T.S. website. The deadline for the written application is 2 March 2012.
Final audition:
The final audition will take place in Brussels from 13 to 16 April 2012. Only candidates who are selected in a preselection or through dossier can participate in the final audition.
